In an attempt to guarantee quality and excellence in the cultural field, the municipality of Zouk Mikaël headed by its Mayor Me Nouhad Naufal, signed an agreement with the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik represented by a delegation headed by the chief officer Reverend Antoine Ahmar and many high members of the university.
The university decided to invest in the preservation of the local patrimony in Zouk Mikaël by encouraging art students to be involved in this noble mission.
In order to preserve and revitalize the art of Nawl, the students of graphic design and arts brought up some brilliant ideas, introducing new techniques and methods in an attempt to guarantee the durability and quality of an art that has become an important matter of the patrimony.
A group of experts visited also the city and reviewed closely the locality in order to publish, at the end of the work, a book about the development of Zouk Mikaël. |
